MEDITATION ON THE BOOK OF REVELATION

REVELATION CHAPTER 1

A. OBSERVATION

Steps.
1.       Determine the Key Words

All words that has influence in the sentence

Revelation 1:1
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:”

2.       Determine the Main Word

-          Generally Action words Is the Main Words, but sometimes noun Word can be the main word
-          All words in the sentence or verses should be centered upon the main word (topical word for phrase)
-          The intention of the main word should have connected with another key word
-          It should say something about the intention of the author
-          The intention of the Author usually connected with the action word

WHAT? The revelation of Jesus Christ
What God gave? The Revelation of Jesus Christ
What that had shown to his Servants? The revelation of Jesus Christ
What sent and signified by the Angel to servant John? The Revelation of Jesus Christ
Revelation = Reveal/manifestation = to Reveal
The Revelation of Jesus Christ: reveal/manifestation of Jesus Christ

3.       Making Question

1.       The answer of the question should be found in the text
2.       Use the Main Word to Create the Questions
3.       Make a simple question which actually will force you to see what is in the bible.

WHO reveal/manifest Jesus Christ?
1. God:
God reveal Jesus… God (father) does not reveal/manifest another but Jesus alone
2. Jesus:
Jesus Reveal Him Self… Jesus does not reveal/manifest another but only Jesus according to the revelation from God the Father.
3. Angel:
Angel reveal Jesus… Angel does not reveal/manifest another but only Jesus according to the revelation from God the Father to Jesus and to the Angel.
4. His Servants:
His servants reveal Jesus… His servant does not revealed/manifested another but only Jesus according to the revelation from God the Father which was giving to Jesus and to His servants.
5. John:
John reveal Jesus… John does not revealed/manifested another but only Jesus according to the revelation from God the Father which was giving to Jesus and to His servants.

4.       Deeper Observation (Something developed, and getting stronger)

HOW to reveal/manifest Jesus?
God had been revealing Jesus because God and Jesus are one and they meet in ones.
Jesus reveals Himself because he meets the Father who gave him the revelation.
Angel reveals Jesus because angel meets Jesus who reveals Himself given by the Father.
His servants revealed Jesus because His servants met Jesus who reveals Himself given by the Father.
John reveals Jesus because John met Jesus who reveals Himself given by the Father.
“Things which must shortly come to pass”
Things…
What things?  It’s all about the reveal/manifestation of Jesus Christ Himself
     Who is Jesus?
He is the one that God thinks and reveal (in the mind of God)
He is the one that He Himself thinks and reveal given by God the Father.
He is the one that the Angel thinks and reveal given by God the Father through Jesus
He was the one that His servants thought and revealed given by God the Father through Jesus
He is the one that the John thought and revealed given by God the Father through Jesus
“Must”: it is a must…cannot be change (unchangeable)
“Shortly come to pass”: Soon and will not delay.

5.       Figure out and compare the synonym of each key word by using some bible versions/common sense language.

6.       Correlation with another verses/ Story in the bible (connection contextual)

7.       Correlation the verses before/after

B. INTERPRETATION
So, Jesus will reveal/manifest Himself soon (will not delay) to his servants as it did to John, in the way that they will meet Jesus and it is a must (unchangeable).
C. APLICATION TO CONTEMPLATE, TO DECIDE, AND TO DEVOTE

1. If God the Father, Jesus, Angel, the servants, and John were only think and manifest Jesus Christ which had given by God, what about me? What have I thought and manifested only? What shall I think and manifest only?
2. If God the Father, Jesus, Angel, the servants, and John has that manifestation because of met with God/Jesus personally, have I met Jesus personally? Will I meet Jesus? And will I ready to meet Jesus
3. Will I ready for the unchangeable manifestation of Jesus Christ to me soon and very soon?

D. PERSONAL PRAYER
LORD, I REALIZE THAT I AM WORTHLESS FOR YOUR UNCHANGEABLE MANIFESTATION. BUT AS YOU ALLOW ME TO KNOW IT, HELP ME TO MEET, TO THINK, AND TO MANIFEST YOU AS MY ONLY FOCUS OF MY LIFE.I WANT TO SEE YOUR UNCHAGEABLE MANIFESTATION AS YOUR SERVANTS AND JOHN DID HAVE IT. LET YOUR NAME BE GLORIFY FOR EVER, AMEN.

Am I as the servant of Christ that:

Lord, know I realize that I am not as the servant of Christ without having these 3 experiences daily. Help me to touch, to feel, to hear to see, to communicate personally with the word of God. Help me to feel what Jesus feel that I might testify what I have been experiencing with You alone in the Word of God. Amen
